Healthy Food for happy and large Maine coons

All of our cats eat 95% raw diet. They eat whole, balanced ground up protein that I grind in my home. Full of nutrients, our cats and kittens thrive off this food. Cats are carnivores and believe feeding them a natural, raw diet is best for them. I have tried countless wet food, leading to runny and smelly stools, lackluster coats and itchy skin issues. Feeding raw is EXPENSIVE but worth it to me. I want these kittens to thrive and live long healthy lives. 

When training cats (yes, cats/kittens can learn a variety of tricks), I feed them Churu treats after they do tricks or do well washing/brushing/cutting nails.

Every week, the kittens/cats get new toys! From fun little catnip mice, to interactive noise birds, I keep the cats/kittens engaged and also busy!

Here at Mainelyhcoon, we are NUTS about keeping Our cats/kittens healthy and happy.
All of our cats are bathed twice a month. Yes, Maine coons learn to love baths! After their spa treatment, they get the works:

Nails cut and filed

Teeth Brushed

Hair brushed, dried and trimmed when necessary 

Ears cleaned

Sanitary groom when necessary

Before our kittens go home, I make sure that these practices are done right before you come and pick them up. It is important to me that you have a kitten that is clean but also used to these practices before they go home. I want this to be easy for the new animal owner and for you to have a healthy, easy to maintain pet!

All of my breeding cats go through extensive health testing to ensure the health of their kittens.

Yearly hip grading as well as patellas.

All my kittens come with a 2 year health guarantee. If a kitten was to die from an inherited disease, I will personally replace kitten when one comes available.

I have found that a lot of breeders send pictures/updates once a week. Some every two weeks. We send pictures/updates DAILY. Yes, sometimes we get a day behind but really do try to send daily pictures/videos. I want you to pick up your kitten and already feel like you know him/her because of the amount of pictures/information you get about them.
